The Teen Center provides youth ages 13 through 18 a safe and exciting place to go after school. The Teen Center is affiliated with the Boys & Girls Club of America and offers many of the B&GCA programs, as well as Air Force programs.
Teen Sponsorship is available for teens that will be moving to Edwards AFB. Let us know through our Face Book account “EdwardsAFBteencenter”,
The Teen Center is proud to offer the Edwards AFB Keystone Club, which provides many leadership and volunteer opportunities for teens on and off base. Other leadership programs teens can take advantage of are: Youth of the Month, Youth of the Year, Youth Employment Skills, and many others.
The Teen Center has many clubs that teach life skills, cooking, guitar, photography, to name a few, where teens can learn something new or enhance their current talents. The teens can also become involved in small theater productions, arts and crafts projects, digital arts, web design, and many other fun activities.
The Keystone Kafe is a small snack bar at the Teen Center where the kids can get snacks, do their homework and hang out with friends. They can use one of the many gaming systems available, work on the computers or watch TV. Watch the Services magazine SABRE because the Teen Center also hosts many special events such as “Find Rudolph”, “UGT” Family & Teen Talent Show, field trips and many other adventures.
Don’t forget that teens can go to the main youth center before school from 6 am – 8 am. Take advantage of this valuable time to finish homework, surf the web, or just relax before school starts (additional fees required for the before school option). Annual Membership is required for all teen center activities and/or events.
