The Arts & Crafts Center offers Arts & Crafts Classes in woodworking, pottery, sewing, drawing, and many other crafts. We have plenty of supplies and work space for your do-it-yourself projects. In addition to our craft classes, we offer woodworking, framing, and engraving services. Stop by and see all we have to offer. In addition to regular updates to our webpage we advertise our monthly classes in the SABRE.
Balloons
Did you know that we have a balloon department to suit your needs? Call in your order and pick it up the same day. We have Mylar and latex balloons for sale as well as specialty and souble wrap balloons. For Easter, bring home a Hot Air Basket filled with a stuffed bunny and candy.
Custom Framing
Our frame shop continues to offer the finest in value, service and workmanship. We offer an outstanding selection of mats and mouldings to choose from that will compliment your artwork and bring you years of pleasure. Please bring in your piece for a price quote since custome framing vary.
Embroidery Services
We are proud to announce that our new embroidery service is now open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am – 3 pm. We can embroider polo shirts, t-shirts, hats, patches, tote bags and more. Guaranteed quick turnaround tim and a commitment to quality work are included. Order your merchandise through the Arts & Crafts Center or bring in your own ideas.
The Woodshop
We have an excellent woodshop at Edwards available for use by military or civilians. To gain access to the woodshop you must take a woodshop safety class and receive an Equipment Qualification Card. If you are interested in our woodshop and need more information about the Wood Shop Safety Class, please call 275-ARTS.
We have a new wood shop instructorChuck Hildebrand, that will be available to help customers on weekdays and Saturdays. We will continue our wood shop safety classes and the instructor will assist customers on their personal projects. Chuch cab do custom projects for the units and squadrons, such as flag cases, coin racks, and medal display cases.
Engraving
We can engrave almost anything you can imagine on almost anything you can imagine! Wood, plastic, ceramic, acrylic, glass, leather, and aluminum; whatever the surface is chances are we can engrave on it. Our engraver’s hours have been extended to meet our customers’ demands. We have new merchandise available that we can special order. Our service offers the most competitive price and quickturnaround time to meet the needs of the customer.
